Saturdays: Lake Agnes Tea House

A moderate hike hike that boasts impressive viewpoints, cliffs, an emerald green lake and of course, the Lake Agnes Teahouse . This teahouse was built by the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1901 specifically for hikers venturing further to higher locations.
This hike is very popular and usually sits high on people’s lists of things to do in Lake Louise—and for good reason! The views are unparalleled and reaching the infamous Lake Agnes Teahouse and its surrounding landscape is an experience that must not be missed!

SunDAYS: Plain of SIX Glaciers Teahouse
Distance: 10.6 km return
Elevation: 370 m
This moderately strenuous hike is notable for its striking views of Mount Victoria, Victoria Glacier, and Mount Lefroy.
The hike starts with an easy and well-signed road up towards the lake. Followed by a steady climb through an open forest, through alpine rocky moraines, then rewarded with a teahouse just past a patch of forest, where you can rest and reward yourself with a nice cup of tea and some biscuits.
Throughout the hike, there are many opportunities to sit and rest at benches and take in the view. That being said, the best and most rewarding views are best enjoyed higher up. Throughout the trail, there are many opportunities to see wildlife such as bighorn sheep, caribou, moose marmot and bears.
Do not let the length and varying terrain of the hike intimidate you, because the view from the top is a worthy reward.

The Lake Agnes Teahouse Hike and Plain of Six Glaciers Hike are available as separate hikes for starting at $49 per participant. They are scheduled every weekend, but you may also request a custom day and/or start times that suit your schedule better.
The Teahouse Hikes explore notable sights and vantage points starting in Lake Louise.
