Snowshoe at West Bragg Creek

With milder temperatures in the horizon, we’re offering outdoor trips to West Bragg Creek again. All scheduled trips are beginner and family friendly, so it’s the perfect place to start and put your indoor training to the test!

Snowshoeing is a wonderful low impact, high cardio winter activity that you can enjoy with friends and family. Bonus: You get to enjoy beautiful landscapes -and- getting started is relatively inexpensive!

This group trip is designed for those who have little or no experience and would like to learn more. We encourage a non-competitive environment where everyone can develop their skills, navigate the trails, have fun, and meet like-minded individuals.

West Bragg Creek Snowshoeing

We currently have snowshoeing scheduled every Sundays, from 12 noon to 3 PM. This is a small group, averaging 4 participants, allowing us to make sure that each participant is able to get the instruction, encouragement and support that they need.

All sessions will be held in the West Bragg Creek Trails Day Use Area, unless other arrangements were made and confirmed prior to the scheduled activity.

Transportation is not included for this trip, but we can help make arrangements if and when necessary. Don’t know the area very well? No problem! Give us a call or send us an email and we’ll help you figure out the way there.

Important: The West Bragg Trails area is part of the Kananaskis Region. The Alberta Government requires a conservation pass (available as a day pass or yearly pass) to park your vehicle in this area. Link here to purchase your conservation pass: Alberta Conservation Pass. The conservation pass helps pay for conservation, public safety, as well as the services and facilities that we get to enjoy.

Request a trip
